When using the GFCI outlet, please follow these steps if the device is not powered: 1) Ensure the device is firmly plugged into the GFCI outlet. 2) If the device is properly connected but still not working: a. Check if the TEST button has popped up and the red LED indicator is on, which indicates a short circuit in the connected device. Unplug the device and address the circuit fault. b. After troubleshooting, press the TEST button, then the RESET button, and plug in the device again. If the green LED indicator flashes, the GFCI outlet is functioning properly. If the TEST button pops up and the red LED indicator turns on again, the device's short circuit issue has not been resolved, so repeat steps a and b.

Important notes: 1. The GFCI outlet is not waterproof, so protect it from water and keep both the receptacle and any plugs dry. 2. Test the outdoor outlet regularly by pressing the TEST button and then the RESET button. 3. If the porch light switch is turned off, there will be no power output in the outlet.
